We test security systems for a living, so we keep our own data handling deliberately boring: collect almost nothing, use it for exactly one purpose, delete it when we're done.
Effective: July 2026 · Applies to fire-shield.io
This website has no user accounts, no analytics trackers, and no advertising. The only personal data we collect is what you type into our contact form, plus the technical minimum needed to serve the site and stop abuse. We use it to reply to you and to arrange the assessment you asked about. We don't sell it, share it for marketing, or keep it longer than the conversation requires.
When you submit the contact form, we store what you provide:
That's the complete list. If you never submit the form, we hold no personal data about you beyond the transient server and proxy logs described below.
We do not use your data for automated decision-making, we do not build marketing profiles, and we do not add you to a mailing list unless you explicitly ask to hear from us.
We run no analytics and no advertising cookies. There is no Google Analytics, no pixel, no fingerprinting script. Any cookies present are strictly functional ones set by our infrastructure provider (see below) to keep the site secure and fast.
Three pieces of infrastructure sit between you and us, and it's only honest to name them:
Each of these providers acts as a processor for the narrow purpose described. We don't pass your data to anyone else, and we never sell it.
Contact-form submissions are kept only as long as needed to handle your enquiry and any assessment that follows from it. Once the conversation is concluded and there's no legitimate reason to retain it, we delete it. IP addresses recorded for rate-limiting are purged on the same basis. We don't archive form data indefinitely "just in case."
Depending on where you live, you may have legal rights to access, correct, export, or delete personal data we hold about you, or to object to how we process it. We honour these requests regardless of jurisdiction — if you asked us to delete your enquiry, we'd do it anyway.
To make a request, email privacy@fire-shield.io or use the contact address published in our security.txt. Tell us the email address you used on the form so we can find the record. We aim to respond within 30 days.
All traffic to the site is encrypted in transit. Form data is stored on infrastructure we control, with access limited to the people who need it to answer you. We're a security-testing company; treating your data carelessly would be an odd look, and we don't.
If our data handling changes, we'll update this page and its effective date. We won't quietly expand what we collect — if a future change is material, it will be stated plainly at the top of this policy.
Anything unclear, or anything you think we've got wrong here — write to privacy@fire-shield.io or reach us through the contact page. For security vulnerabilities in the site itself, use the address in our security.txt.
